TASCAM M-216 | 16-Channel / 4-Bus Analog Mixing Console (Mid-1980's)
Up for sale is an absolute time capsule: a vintage Tascam M-216 16-channel, 4-bus analog mixing console in excellent condition.
Manufactured in Japan during the golden era of TEAC/Tascam analog engineering (circa 1984-1986), finding an M-216 in this pristine, flawless cosmetic and functional state is exceptionally rare.
I have recorded a number of tracks with this into a Tascam 38 reel to reel and it sounds awesome. I have also run tracks from my DAW into it to add some harmonic distortion and analog warmth.
Musical EQ with sweepable mids.
- 4-Bus Architecture: Flexible routing options that make it incredibly easy to subgroup your drums or instruments before hitting your audio interface.
- Dedicated Tape Returns: Channels 1 through 8 feature integrated tape returns, making this the perfect matching desk for vintage 8-track reel-to-reel tape machines like the iconic Tascam 38.
VU meters are glowing beautifully.
Comes with original dust cover.
