Here’s a super cool, one of a kind piece from LSL.

This LSL John Mayer Tribute Saticoy has the deep, distressed appearance of John's mid-century road warrior. Sometimes referred to as a BTS finish ("beat to sh*t"), it definitely takes "relic" about as far as it can go, but the net result is an axe that looks as experienced and soulful as it sounds.

Body: Swamp ash

Neck: chunky, “barely V” shape, very comfortable, with aged toner and down-to-the-wood relic-ing.

The rosewood fingerboard features a 9.5” radius for comfortable, fast action.

The pickups are hand-wound LSL single-coils—they sound just like an old Strat should, complete with 5-position switch to get every last wonderful bit of quack. The vintage, well-worn look carries through to the barely-gold hardware, plastic parts and even the plastic tuners that appear to have come off of an old student-model Fender.
