Purple Audio

Purple Audio started in the late '90s from humble beginnings in an old warehouse in Long Island City, just steps away from Manhattan, modifying the center sections of large format analog consoles and also building a fresh take on the famed 1176LN limiting amp. That piece, the MC76 (and now the improved MC77) got the attention of some of NY's top studios and before long, Andrew Roberts and company were designing unique products with a particular focus on the modular 500 Series format. Fast forward a couple decades and you'll see Purple Audio as an undoubted leader in the VPR field, building a wide range of modules, their own powered frames, and now the MFtwenty5 sidecar console system.
