The Suhr Benjamin Madden Signature Modern T is a distinctive take on the Modern T platform, combining a swamp ash body with a roasted birdseye maple neck and fingerboard. The two-piece swamp ash body features arm, hand, and tummy contours for a comfortable playing experience, finished in gloss Trans White with scraped binding. Gold appointments throughout the instrument add a refined contrast to the finish, including the Electrosocket input jack, two-post Suhr bridge with bent steel saddles and steel block, strap buttons, control plate, and hardware. A parchment Modern T pickguard and matching tremolo cavity cover complete the classic aesthetic.
The 3A roasted birdseye maple neck features a satin finish and Suhr's Modern Elliptical profile, measuring .800 to .850 inches. The 3A roasted birdseye maple fingerboard has an 11 to 16 inch compound radius with a standard roll and carries 24 jumbo stainless steel frets. Mother-of-pearl face dots provide the fingerboard inlays, while 2.5mm green Luminlay ring side dots offer clear visibility along the edge of the fingerboard. The 1.687 inch white Tusq nut complements the neck, while the original headstock features a quilt maple top, gloss finish, gold outlined logo decal, Suhr locking gold tuning gears, and Benjamin Madden signature engraving.
The guitar is equipped with white S90 pickups in both the neck and bridge positions, controlled by a three-way parchment blade switch, volume control, and tone control. The SSCII Active electronics provide additional noise reduction while retaining the guitar's straightforward control layout. Gold control knobs complete the electronics, while the Suhr two-post bridge provides a solid foundation for the instrument's E Standard tuning. The guitar is strung with .010 to .046 gauge strings and is configured for standard E, A, D, G, B, and E tuning.
Finished with a combination of Trans White gloss body finish, roasted birdseye maple, quilt maple, gold hardware, and white S90 pickups, the Benjamin Madden Signature Modern T has a clean and distinctive appearance with carefully selected appointments throughout.
