Overview

A product of the mid-'70s to mid-'80s, the Rickenbacker 4002 bass guitar took the company's 4001 bass and added on a few extra perks. For instance, one of the 4002's pickups was moved to the same location as that of a Fender Jazz Bass, the 4002 boasted stereo Rick-O-Sound outputs, and a fully bound maple neck, to name a few. Though the Rickenbacker 4002 only came in either the Mapleglo or Walnut finishes, it was chock-full of extra features.
