About this listing

Due to the dissolution of my collection and a new expensive hobby, I am selling this wonderful PRS Custom 24 from 1991, i.e. from the good old days and the original factory where the materials were still selected and assembled by hand.It looks like new for its age. The fingerboard is made of Brazilian Rio Rosewood (Dalbergia Nigra)which is forbidden today. A European Union certificate confirming that it can be sold and used is included.Some very small dings and dongs. please see fotos.I don't have to say anything about the sound. I have owned it for about 10 years now and it has only been in the case since then and has never been played by me.I am a private person therefore no guarantee or return.All photos are original.

At a time when most guitar companies were simply copying or slightly modifying the tested platforms of Fender and Gibson (which Paul Reed Smith did himself in his "pre-factory" days), the PRS Custom 24 -- simply called "PRS Custom" in the first catalog -- made use of a new, fresh shape, unique 25" scale with 24 frets, and premium woods for stunning flametops. The first factory-made PRS Custom 24s shown here used Brazilian Rosewood fretboards.
