There are plenty of videos about Demon Drive, but not enough praise about these wood beaters. With felt beaters, the pedal absorbs a bit, then comes back. With wood beaters, the bounce is quicker off the resonant bass drum head, as the absorption is less - The result is quicker energy transfer and faster strike power.
