About this listing
Godin A12 Natural – 12-String – Made in CanadaCondition: Excellent. The guitar is absolutely new and unplayed, with no signs of use. It has been carefully stored since purchase. The Godin A12 Natural is a highly distinctive 12-string acoustic-electric guitar designed to combine the rich, shimmering character of a traditional 12-string with the comfort, feedback resistance and playability of Godin’s chambered-body design.Built in Canada, the A12 features a two-chambered Silver Leaf Maple body with Canadian Laurentian Basswood wings, topped with a solid cedar top.The chambered body is only around two inches deep, making the guitar significantly more comfortable to play than a traditional full-depth 12-string acoustic while also helping to reduce unwanted feedback during amplified performance. The maple neck, Richlite fingerboard and 25.5" scale give the A12 a familiar, easy-playing feel, while the 1.9" nut width provides enough space for the 12-string layout without feeling excessively wide. For amplification, the guitar uses a Custom Godin under-saddle transducer with onboard preamp, providing clear and balanced amplified sound with dedicated controls for volume, bass, mid and treble. The result is a very practical professional 12-string for both live and studio use — offering the harmonic richness of a traditional 12-string with a much more manageable body and excellent resistance to feedback.SpecificationsModel: Godin A12 NaturalMade in CanadaRight-Handed12-StringBody: Two-Chambered Silver Leaf Maple with Canadian Laurentian Basswood WingsTop: Solid CedarNeck: MapleFingerboard: RichliteFingerboard Radius: 16" / 406.4 mmScale Length: 25.5" / 647.7 mmNut Width: 1.9" / 48.26 mmNut: GraphtechFrets: 22Bridge: RichliteElectronics: Custom Godin Under-Saddle TransducerPreamp: Custom Godin On-Board PreampControls: Volume, Bass, Mid, TrebleFinish: Natural Semi GlossFactory String Set: A12 LTIncludes: Original Godin Gig BagThe Godin A12 is an excellent choice for players who want the spacious, chorus-like sound of a 12-string without the bulk and feedback issues of a conventional acoustic design. Its chambered construction, solid cedar top and stage-ready electronics make it especially well suited to live performance, recording and layered acoustic parts.
