About this listing
Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul LPM 120th Anniversary in Satin Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2014, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Maple top, ‘Rounded’ profile Maple neck and 22 fret unbound Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with a set of aftermarket Guyker locking tuning machines and Chrome Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The pickups are a pair of Gibson ’61 Zebra humbuckers that are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, bridge volume, bridge tone, neck volume and a neck tone control. The Maple neck plays very well, with the ‘Rounded’ profile filling the hand without being cumbersome, promoting ergonomic thumb position and providing an articulate playing experience. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and smooth lead lines, making for a truly authentic yet refined Les Paul playing experience, whilst the wider fingerboard and brass adjustable nut increases the playing area while still retaining the original string spacing. The Gibson ’61 Zebra humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Gibson ’61 Zebra humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.
