1958 Gibson GA-5 Skylark amplifier in blonde tolex. Amp is all original and was last serviced in May 2024, with caps replaced and a 3-prong plug added for safety. Sounds fantastic - the amp tech mentioned that Skylarks were notoriously hit-or-miss, but that this was one of the good ones. The grille cloth is reproduction and has been fitted over the original which is in bad shape - this does not affect the sound and the thumbtacks holding it in place inside the amp can easily be removed to return it to fully original state. The tolex is in very good shape and the full "Gibson" logo is present, which is hard to find on these amps. The Jensen speaker code 220812 as shown in the last pic dates it to 1958.
