Gibson Custom Shop Ace Frehley Budokan 1974 Les Paul Custom Aged #100 of 100 in Aged Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish made in 2011 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound solid layered mahogany and maple pancake body with a 3-Piece maple top, 3-Piece mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard with a bound headstock. Equipped with a DiMarzio PAF (Not wired) in the neck position, a DiMarzio PAF (Not wired) in the middle position, and a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume, 2 tone pots and a 3-Way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl block inlays and black side markers with 22 jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim taper profile. The hardware is comprised of relic chrome Grover Banjo tuning machines with pearloid butterbean heads, a bone nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic Bridge and gold speed knobs with a Single-Ply cream pickguard.
Rare! only 100 hand aged Budokans were made and only 50 were hand signed by Ace himself. This guitar is number 100 of 100, the very last aged Budokan made in this series!
From Gibson: "The Ace Frehley Budokan Les Paul Custom is a painstaking recreation of Frehley's modified Les Paul Custom, based on intimate examination of the instruments current condition. The Ace Frehley Budokan Les Paul Custom has been created with close cooperation between Gibson Custom, Ace Frehley and the guitars current owner, Matt Swanson. Digital scanning technology was used to capture every minute detail of the actual guitar."
This guitar is in overall mint condition with minimal to no signs of actual play. ( See pics)
