Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Jimi Hendrix appeared at his most famous live shows with a mysterious red Fuzz Face Distortion with white knobs. Its sound was unlike any other Fuzz Face pedal in Jimi's arsenal, with a much more aggressive growl and a more aggressive tone.
