If you're looking for a way to thicken up your tone without adding the weird warbling effect you get with a chorus or a flanger, then you've got to check out the DigiTech Luxe. The Luxe is a brilliantly simple unison pedal that lets you blend a slightly detuned version of the input with the dry signal to create a constant thickening sound similar to the studio technique of double tracking. I was absolutely blown away by what it could do all manner of guitar tones, from dry to heavily distorted. What's particularly impressive is how the same effect can make both overdriven harmonics and bass guitar sound so much fatter. DigiTech Luxe Unison Detuning Guitar/Bass Effects Pedal Features:An amazing detuning/unison effects pedal that sounds great on guitar and bassDetune control provides polyphonic pitch shifting from -50 cents to +50cents (1 half-step range)Level control lets you blend in as much detuned signal with your dry signal as you likeEffect resembles rich chorus, without the modulation or phasey soundTrue-bypass switching preserves your tone when the pedal is not in use
