Reverb Music Notes with Joe Shadid

Hey friends, Joe here.

I am, as you may know, a lover of music. I am also a lover of coffee. And I feel that great discussions often happen while sipping a cup of delicious coffee.

Historically, coffee shops have been places where people gather to discuss a range of topics, from social and political ideas to the culture of art and music. There is a reason for this. Coffee engages us. It pairs well with conversation.

We started this video series in an attempt to discuss musical ideas through the lens of an interesting point in music history. Some of these historical moments are crazy and obscure while others are more well–known. But they are all moments that we feel are important to discuss.

So if you care to join in the conversation, please do! Grab a cup of coffee and contemplate our rich music history. Chime in. And if you'd like to hear a certain story discussed, let us know.

We're here to learn just as you are.

Cheers,

Joe Shadid
