Lincoln Guitars Single Pickup Chambered

Hailing from Austin, Texas, Lincoln Constructs puts the customer in control. Each guitar they ship is custom–built to the customer’s specs, so there’s no chance you’ll get something you’re unhappy with. We're particularly enamoured with this single pickup, semi–hollow specimen with its dapper tuxedo finish.

Revelator Guitars SuperTone

Revelator makes each of their ‘50s and ‘60s–inspired guitars by hand in New Jersey. While some of their models are more standard Fender–esque fare, the SuperTone line offers a unique body shape while retaining a decidedly vintage vibe. We think they look especially sharp with goldfoils.

Shelton’s Guitars GalaxyFlite

Shelton of Shelton's Guitars is an old friend of Reverb's, and his team has been slinging a line of original bright and brilliant solidbodies for almost two years now. Their spin on the classic offset template comes in the form of the GlaxaxyFlite, a guitar with a growing reputation for one of the most comfortable medium–C neck profiles around.

Patrick Robert Lady Custom 1

French luthier Patrick Robert draws inspiration for his unique Lady offsets from vintage American racecars from the 1970s. Beyond the racing stripe paint jobs, these offsets include a custom floating trem system atop swamp ash bodies.

Jennings Guitars Catalina

Guitar and woodworking lovers Devin Murdoch and Chad Jennings are behind the newer Jennings Guitars shop out of California. To hear a Jennings in action, be sure to check out our demo of the Jennings Catalina here.

Deimel Guitarworks Firestar

Deimel Guitarworks builds truly original offset designs with equally distinct finishes in Berlin, Germany. One of our favorites, the Firestar “STOP THE WAR” Artist Edition guitar, was a collaboration between Frank Deimel and his wife, Kora Jünger, who provided the finish work.

Dan Wolf Guitars Jazztail

Dan Wolf’s Jazztail models feature a solid alder body, a pair of hand–wound P90s, and a sleek nitro finish. It's classic offset spec all the way, with starting prices comfortably below most of other entries on this list.

Joe Bochar Guitars Suptertone

You can pick up one of JBG’s Supertone offsets fresh out of Monroe, Wisconsin. Each guitar pays homage to beloved vintage instruments while incorporating modern playability with unique body shapes. JBG models also sport tasteful transparent finishes, like the trans black example seen here.

Vuorensaku Black Sheep

Vuorensaku is a Finnish brand specializing in both offset guitars and basses. Like some of the aforementioned shops, Vuorensaku makes their guitars custom by order, so you’re in charge of all of the appointments. If you dig the vibe of these guitars and their fine Finnish flair, be sure to check out our recent interview with Saku of Vuorensaku guitars.

Kauer Guitars Daylighter Super Supreme

Doug Kauer of Kauer Guitars is not just a highly regarded California–based builder, he's something of a celebrity in the independent luthier community. Doug and company have been at it since 2008, making superb guitars like the Banshee and Starliner. More recently, though, the newly launched Titan series offers a more affordable tier for players who can't quite swing the full, custom build experience but still want a fantastic boutique instrument.

Brown Bear Guitars Thinline Koa Top JM

Brown Bear Guitars are modeled after time–honored American designs and are handmade in Toronto, Canada. Their natural finishes are beautifully detailed as displayed by the Koa–topped Thinline Jazzmaster shown here.
