Haufe Transformer Box - Enhancer - Colour Box

Here we have on offer a very nice spec professional broadcast grade transformer box.

Built with 2 x vintage Haufe 10k ohm input transformers transformers which were designed for Pro mixers and preamps.   German parts from around the late 60s to 70s 

• Neutrik XLR input and output connections - Balanced
• Ground lift switch on the XLR outputs
• 2 x vintage Haufe transformers
• Output attenuation controls  -  6 way control which allows you to drive the inputs and back off the hot outputs
• Balanced 10k 1:1 
• Hard bypass switches 

These transformers have a very warm tone and can be used nice and clean but also pushed into subtle saturation at lower frequencies.

The idea here is to "change" and colour signals. Each unit we build will have unique specs and workings so a great way of getting unique changes to recordings.  These are designed to handle quite high levels before maxing out so can sound very clean too and are also perfect as hum eliminator and balanced to unbalaned, unbalanced to balanced convertors
