For sale is my rare DW Edge Curly Maple 13x6 Snare.

13x6 Curly Maple shell with the legendary DW Edge construction — huge tone, incredible crack, loads of body, and built like an absolute tank.

This snare has been part of my collection since new in 1997. Over the past 16 years it’s been used exclusively in a professional studio environment my studios, and before that it was my main touring snare for many years.

It records exceptionally well and has that classic DW Edge attack while still retaining warmth and depth from the curly maple shell. Sensitive, punchy, and incredibly versatile.

Condition is very good for its age with honest signs of professional use. I’ve tried to clearly show the condition of the hardware in the photos. There‘s pitting and marking in the gold plating from age and use, but overall it still presents beautifully and is an absolutely stunning drum. Hardware is solid and fully functional throughout.

I have years of experience restoring drums and this one just had a service and polish.

Only selling to make room for more studio gear, and because owning 30+ snares might be getting slightly ridiculous. 🤣
