The Sound Devices MixPre-6 II is a compact field recorder and USB audio interface designed for location recording, music and content production. It features four XLR/TRS combo inputs with Sound Devices’ Kashmir preamps, offering very low noise performance, analogue limiters and 32-bit recording for wide dynamic range. Audio can be recorded directly to an SD card or streamed over USB at the same time, making it useful for backup recording or hybrid setups. A colour touchscreen and LED metering provide clear control in the field, and the unit can be powered by batteries, USB or mains. It also includes camera mounting, timecode support and wireless control via a mobile app for flexible use across different setups.
Includes manual, 4 x Rechargable AA Batteries, an NP-FZ100 battery charger and SanDisk 8GB CompactFlash Card.
