Greco SE800 Super Real Stratocaster 1954 Style MIJ Fujigen 1980 Higher-End Model

This is a higher-end Greco Stratocaster model, the SE800. Based on the serial number, it was made in 1980. It comes from Greco’s highly regarded Super Real era, often considered the brand’s golden period, and the headstock bears the Super Real logo.

Among Greco guitars, examples from 1980–1981 in particular tend to command strong prices on the used market.

The body appears to be Sen, likely one-piece, with a maple neck and maple fingerboard, lacquer finish, and the original PU-S8 pickups. I believe it is almost fully original, including the pots. This is not a model that comes up very often, so if you have been looking for one, this is a great opportunity.

Weight: Approximately 3.5 kg

Condition:As this guitar is around 45 years old, it does show a fair amount of wear and scratches. There is a crack at the tip of the pickguard, which has been repaired with glue. There is also some lacquer burn on part of the bottom edge of the body. However, there is no noticeable fret wear or fret denting, and there are currently no choking issues. The electronics are also working properly. The guitar has been fully cleaned and given a basic setup.
