Putting my 1962 WEM Westminster up for sale — a beautiful survivor from the golden age of British amps. This one’s in great shape for its age and comes complete with its original pedal and amp cover — a rare find in itself.
It’s got that unmistakable early-’60s tone: rich, dynamic, and full of character. Cleans are smooth and chimey, and when you push it, it breaks up with that warm, organic growl these amps are famous for. The tremolo works perfectly and sounds fantastic — lush, musical, and far more expressive than most modern effects.
All original where it counts, with tidy hand-wired guts and no questionable mods. It’s been cared for, not messed with. Cosmetically, it shows honest wear — just enough to remind you it’s been around the block since the early days of British rock, but nothing ugly or structural.
This is a proper piece of vintage WEM history, and you don’t see many this clean or complete. Perfect for studio use, collectors, or anyone chasing that authentic early British tone.
Only selling because I’m thinning the herd a bit — too many amps, not enough time to play them all. Feel free to message if you want more photos, clips, or details. Would love to see it go to someone who’ll appreciate it.
Please message before buying — thanks! :)
