Hohner Automatic Rhythm Player (Germany, 1968) Legendary Analog Mixable Drum Machine!

We are selling this beautiful and rare drum machine Hohner Automatic Rhythm Player!

Collector's item! Serial number: 771933

This great and super rare drum machine was built in 1968 in Germany and still works very well despite its years. The instrument is in excellent cosmetical condition for its age with some minor traces of use. Some rhythm selection buttons sometimes need to be double-pressed to stay pressed, but this is normal on this model! Fully working, fully tested and great sound: grab a bargain!

This drum machine has very nice analog fat sounds, unique, classy wooden design, it’s a great sounding unit that can easily been retrofitted with midi (if you want mod it). The Rhythm Player shares some semblance with the Ace Tone FR-2L.

Sound generation is purely analog! There are 4 cancel buttons for the cymbal, snare, hit hat and clave sounds!

There is also a button for activate the automatic tempo (recommended speed for the preset). And with the dedicated +/- knob you can select automatic tempo fast (+) or slow (-). The automatic changes of rhythm between fast and slow are almost imperceptible because this is more like a change of swing, but it changes!

The unit delivers 20 rhythms. You can combine them together!

The Rhythm Player includes the following preset grooves:

Swing / Shuffle / Rock'n Roll / Foxtrot / Cha-Cha / Tango / Blues / Bossa Nova / Engl Waltz / Baion / Beguine / Beat Fox / Rumba / March / Beat / Paso Doble / Waltz / Western / Samba / Slow Rock.

This unit works with 230V.

This is a simple and fantastic drum machine with a very rich and warm sound, don't miss it! It perhaps requires some small checks on the rhythm selection mechanics, but in general it’s fully working and well preserved for its age. Please, consider it before buying.

THIS HOHNER AUTOMATIC RHYTHM PLAYER DRUM MACHINE WILL BE PACKAGED IN A PROFESSIONAL WAY (PLEASE, READ OUR FEEDBACK) BUT ANY WAY IT WILL BE SOLD AT BUYER'S OWN RISK, WITHOUT WARRANTY AGAINST POSSIBLE DEFECTS DUE TO TRANSPORT: WE CAN'T OFFER ANY REFUND OR RETURN!

This is your chance to get your hands on a super rare rhythm box. Very hard to let this one go, but it's not getting enough use and it's just time to move on.
