Vintage late 60's/early 70’s Ace Tone FM-1 Fuzz Master and FW-1 Twin Ace fuzz wah, made in Japan. Two rare-to -see issues from the company which preceded the formation of Roland in the early 1970's. The FM-1 is a very high gain circuit in the general flavor of the classic 60's fuzz sound, but unique sonically.
The FW-1 features another fantastic fuzz circuit, with a unique sprung-wah design incorporated. The wah option switches in when the treadle is moved forward from the standing bypassed heel position, engaging immediately for a low to high sweep. When the treadle is released/returned it switches back out again to just the fuzz (or to the bypassed clean if the fuzz stomp switch is off).
Both pedals are operating beautifully and in overall very good condition as pictured. The FM-1 powers by dual AA batteries, the FW-1 powers by a 9V battery.
