• Shell looks like 2x Thick 3Ply Maple Gretsch Shells sandwiched together with the thinnest middle connecting ply. Maybe a Gretsch prototype 6Ply drum before having Jasper take over shell mfg
• Natural Maple Interior -- roughest bookmatching of an inner ply I have ever seen (this is real reason why Gretsch / Rogers started painting their interiors!)
• Upgrades: Like New Coated Aquarian American Vintage Thin Batter Head and Clear Aquarian Vintage Resonant Snare Head
• No modifications or extra holes

All original Walberg and Auge drum except for generic tension rods. Everything else is period correct for 40s Gretsch Broadkaster Model with nickel plated Gretsch double-flange rims still in good shape, and early style throw-off and butt  still in good working condition. Wrap looks consistent with 40s Gold Glass Glitter. Shell is unusual 6-7 plies of Maple but not thin like 6-ply jasper, it's double-thickness of probably any other vintage Gretsch snare. Shell is slightly out of round. Date stamp on inside doesn't make much sense unless W&A acquired an already complete "factory second" leftover from Gretsch. Like new aquarian heads and this drum is a one of a kind beast that sounds incredible.
