High-impedance output buffer created to connect Fuzz Face to the rear stage!
When the Fuzz Face is connected to a low-impedance out device, the sound will be different from when connected to a high-impedance device such as a guitar.
Also, when combined with a wah pedal, the wah effect is significantly impaired due to circuit problems, and the sound of the fuzz side is also altered.
Many guitarists have been troubled by these problems.
The “Line Mode Stabilizer SKM-1” solves these problems at once.
By connecting it to the front stage of a fuzz face, changes in the fuzz sound are suppressed as much as possible.
Furthermore, inserting it between a wah pedal and a fuzz face improves the effectiveness of the wah.
EVA Electronics also has the SF-2, a buffer with a high-impedance output, but when connected to a fuzz face, the volume is lowered due to the impedance, resulting in an unintended clean tone like that produced when a guitar is turned down. However, this is not the case with the SKM-1.
The SKM-1 solves the problem of using the SF-2 with fuzz all at once.
It is a must-have item for fuzz users.
Although it was developed with a fuzz face in mind, it will of course work well with other fuzz pedals as well.
Due to its high-impedance output, please use as short and high-quality a shielded cable as possible when connecting it to this pedal.
Longer than necessary shields or low-quality shields will lead to sound quality degradation and noise contamination.
