The key to its success is the combination of the unique 12"x7" size, bubinga shell, and inwardly curved Sound Arc hoop.

While retaining the distinct pitch in the high range that is associated with the term 12" diameter, the bubinga shell, which is characterized by its rich mid-low range, is set to a depth of 7", achieving the fat shell resonance that is often lost with smaller diameters. The hoop uses a Sound Arc hoop, which has the effect of consolidating the onset of the sound and clarifying the contours. When using rim shots, It produces a clear attack and produces a solid sound image even with fine phrases like ghost notes, without the individual sounds scattering.

The wide tuning range allows you to get a wide range of sounds from high to low by tuning while maintaining the natural sound of an acoustic drum.
