This is a rare collaboration model, in which the shell of the Italian handmade brand "DrumArt" is assembled at Pearl Japan's custom workshop "D-Flavor".
From the material that has been thoroughly dried after many years of aging, strict selection criteria are used to select the high-quality and stable parts, which are then processed into extremely thick (30mm) blocks. These are connected with pegs of the same material, and the shell is finished with an extremely round shape without distortion and high strength, making it solid and heavy, producing overwhelming sound pressure and volume. In order to further bring out the unique sound of each material, the finish is as thin as possible and it is equipped with parts that contribute to an open sound, resulting in a brilliantly sensitive response and a bright tone with good grain even at fortissimo.
A composite shell with alternating blocks of maple and walnut. It has an unparalleled sound.
As this is a used item, there are some scratches, but nothing noticeable. It is in quite good condition.
