1940’s Gibson VA-42-942 Viola Violin Rene Breton Bow

Selling this instrument for a family friend. I will not be able to answer any technical questions as I am not a specialist or have any knowledge of string instruments. Please take a look at all the pictures provided very carefully before purchase. 

Here is an early 1940’s Gibson VA- 42-942 Viola for sale. The instrument is 65 CM long from top to bottom., shoulder width 18 CM wide, waist is 23 CM wide, side thickness is 4 CM, Probably will need to be properly set up by a professional. Comes complete with a Rene Breton bow and case shown in the pics.

I will pack this guitar extremely well in a heavy duty guitar box with ridiculous amount of bubble wrap, and ship by Express Mail Service fully insured through Japan post to your Postal carrier. Express mail usually takes about 7-10 days depending on location, but there may be some minor delays at the customs or the post office in your country or city.  Los Angeles customs is very slow and congested, so it might take about 10-14 days for delivery in California due to customs delay. Delivery to Canada may have some delays due to past strike.
