Awesome res-tone-mod les paul type… First thing ya might notice is the hand-done gold leafing… I kinda like it too. Well, I really like it. And we topped it with nitrocellulose lacquer. Its overall, an antiqued finish, including the matching grinding of the back plate, stop tail and even the input jack.
The neck has a soft V shape by the headstock, but it’s really got your basic C shape overall. 12” radius fretboard.
The hand-shaped bone nut and Grover Deluxe tuners (on a bound, maple neck/rosewood board whose frets are in great condition) keep the Dragon in tune, dependably. Pictured too are the weight-relief holes we drilled and the belly and heal carves.
The neck pickup is a nickel covered Gibson PAF and a gold covered Seymour Duncan Trembucker bridge pickup… an America-wound (Nashville and Santa Barbara) and top shelf tone combo.
Switchcraft input jack and CTS 500k pots… This guitar is as strong a performer as it is a looker. Appearances admittedly are subjective. The Golden Dragon though, is our style and we proudly offer it to you. The playability is also our style, but it’s way more objective/universal. At 7.4 lbs, it’s not too heavy and the guts put together by our luthier, Johnny O., make this a professional axe by anyone’s standard.
