Here is a vintage Dual 1210 turntable on a hardwood Noresco plinth with clean dust cover and ceramic cartridge compatible with ceramic cartridge receivers. The 1210 is very robust and well made.

Apart from some hardened grease (which has been cleaned) and the Steuerpimpel there is not much that can break. Everything important is made from metal. The tonearm is good enough for the supplied ceramic carts.

As the motor is 2 pole only, a magnetic cartridge should not be used. It's a collectible in very nice condition.

1970's vintage Dual 1210 turntable mounted in this full size Noresco plinth base. This machine comes with a brand new diamond needle on a Shure cartridge with a new cartridge sled, and is in 100% working order. Also a stacking spindle for multi record play, 45 record adapter, and LP record spindle. The idler wheel from motor to platter is also newly changed and the rubber was replaced. I have recently cleaned and lubricated the undercarriage mechanical linkages, and have calibrated the tonearm tracking weight and set up the cartridge/needle with a turntable protractor. This is ready to go to a new home for many more years of vinyl playing enjoyment.
