Vintage Hamer Chaparral Custom Flame Maple Top/Flame Maple Neck in Natural finish made in 1987 with original hard shell case. This guitar features a solid figured mahogany body with a bound flamed maple top, 3-Piece flame maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Equipped with a set of OBL Pickups, a 450L in the neck position/middle position, and a 900XL in the bridge position. Controlled by 1 volume, 1 tone pots and a 5-Way blade switch. The 25.5" scale length neck has mother of pearl boomerang inlays and 22 jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a medium C profile. The hardware is comprised of black hamer sealed diecast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Floyd Rose locking nut, a Floyd Rose original double locking tremolo and black knurled dome knobs.
This guitar is in overall very good condition with moderate signs of play. It has some light dings/dimples, some surface marks, some finish wear around the middle pickup and some finish chips on the rear bodies edge and neck. The rear trem cavity cover is gone and one of it‘s screw holes is blown out in cavity. (See pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
