Lovies Guitars is excited to offer up this 1950’s Martin Style 1 Tenor Ukulele with a Natural Mahogany Finish! The C. F. Martin guitar company is almost single-handedly responsible for what we know as the modern tenor ukulele and soprano ukulele. This example of a Martin Style 1 Tenor ukulele dates to the 1950’s. As ukes from this period do not carry serial numbers, precise dating is difficult if not impossible. It is of all mahogany construction except for the rosewood bridge and fingerboard. This guitar is in excellent shape for its age with some marks and minor indents, rated at 9/10. All original and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs. Included with this guitar is an original hard-shell case and a complimentary sample of Fret-Not, our preferred fretboard cleaner, check it out at! For additional photos, including internal shots, please visit our website. Thank you for considering this exceptional instrument from Lovies Guitars.
