Up for grabs is a lightly handled (from 2009) BASSLINES by Seymour Duncan SJB-3n (Neck Position) Quarter Pound Pickup. Black cover with BASSLINES logo. Also called Basslines Quarter Pound Jazz Bass 4 String NECK pickup.

Works fine. Slightly hotter than full strength. The multimeter reading that I got was 13.67k.

Comes with the hard plastic packaging, wiring diagram paperwork, warranty / registration paperwork, screws, and rubber bushings.

Even though this pickup is from 2009 - itis really "new' old stock. But the pickup cover is not 100 percent perfect. This is because the pickup was in the packing without too much foam in it and when it was handed everyso ofter - it moved around in the packaging. As a result - the tops side of the pickup cover has some light - but visiblee surface scuffs & very short surface scratches, and a few tiny nicks. Therefore - in the title - I put lightly used (lite use). But in reality it was never used. And I cut the insulation off at the very ends of the wires to expose the bare wires -- to get the mutti-meter reading and to make it easier for you to install on your bass.

So several years I've been holding on to this pickup - for a possible bass pickup switch (installation). But I 've given up on doing this. So now I'm finally selling this pickup.

13.67k is the multi-meter reading that I got on April 29, 2024 (room temp was about 68 °F): This pickup is slightly hotter than full strength - remember room temperature affects the multi-meter reading - so this reading fluctuates a little bit:

Here are written details about the COSMETIC CONDITION:

The TOP SIDE of this Pickup COVER. As I mentioned above - the top side of the pickup cover has me light - but visible surface scuffs & very short surface scratches, and a few tiny nicks.

The left, right, front , and back areas of the pickup COVER are very clean. Just a few minor imperfections from how it was manufactured.

The Top Side of the Actual Pickup (with the cover OFF) is very clean (SEE pictures # 14 and # 15.

NOTE: The BASSLINES logo on the top side appears as a Silver and Black graphic (the silver part of this graphic might be viewed as White to some people).

The BOTTOM SIDE of the pickup has white sticker that has this info:

• ILI36  
• SJB-3N 0930  (the first two numbers going left to right are the year 2009)

For the Bottom LABEL - the bottom edge has a very tiny nick.

The Bottom Side of the pickup is very clean.

There is plenty of wire. The wires are fine. They are just curved (not laying straight - because of how that were positioned in the packaging).

Measurement of the wires:

• BLACK WIRE to end of bare wire - about 12 and 1/2 inches
• RED WIRE to end of bare wire - about 12 and 1/2 inches

The SCREWS and the RUBBER BUSHINGS are new.

The Wiring Diagram paperwork is mostly fine. It just has a few very small dot impressions and a few very small dot gray markings.

The Registration / Warranty paperwork is fine. (NOTE: since this is a pre-owned item - it does not quailify to have warranty coverage by Seymour Duncan).

The Clear Hard Plastic PACKAGING has a few short cracks, a medium length crack, a few light scuffs, some surface scratches, ad some tiny nicks. And there are some visible - but not too serious cloudy spots / light scuffs. You can see some - but not all of these imperfections in the picutres. Feel free to ask for more pictures of the packaging.

For the paper in the clear hard plastic - some of the information and the yellow color on top area of the paper part has faded / fading (it has lightened from UV light exposure).

NOTE: There may be a few imperfections that I overlooked. There are a couple imperfections on the clear hard plactic packaging that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures. Also - there are some imperfections (glares, reflections. dust specks) that show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person.
