Tama LSP146-WSS Fat Spruce Snare Drum S.L.P. SOUND LAB PROJECT 14"×6"

Every drummer goes on a long journey to find the snare drum that suits their style. This new series “S.L.P. -Sound Lab Project-” was created to serve as a guidepost for such drummers. Not only do we have a rich lineup of shell materials, but we also pay close attention to the shell thickness down to a tenth of a millimeter. In order to maximize its potential, we have newly developed hoops and tube lugs in addition to existing parts. This snare series is compatible with all genres and has a rich variety of sounds created by combining them under one series.

A snare drum whose shell material is spruce, which is often used as the top material for acoustic guitars. It has excellent overtones and vibration characteristics in the mid- and high-frequency ranges, producing a fat, warm sound and rich resonance.

In addition, by equipping it with a highly rigid die-cast hoop, it has a clear attack and powerful volume, but by intentionally making it an 8-tension specification, it does not interfere with the natural sound of the shell. Despite its slightly deeper size of 6", the snare drum has clear contours and a pleasant sound, making it suitable for R&B, ballads, and classic rock.
