VERY RARE VINTAGE AUSTRALIAN AMP - Vadis 600R 60w/8ohm amp head with matching original speaker cabinet, build by Soundcraft in Sydney, Australia in the late 60s and early 70s. Very similar high quality build to Melbourne's Goldentone and a classic Aussie vintage valve amp, as used by many a working band back in the day. Very good functional order and cosmetic condition. This amp, unlike Fenders etc. plays great at low volume and then cranks up loud and clean and with distortion pedals roars like a Orange or Goldentone. Excellent condition and ready to play and gig right now though would love some TLC. I have been gigging with it and if I could I would keep it a zillion percent. Suitable for Blues, Rock, Jazz, Metal live and in the studio.

The head is a two channel 60-watt valve amplifier setup for a huge clean tone that can be distorted with pedals or if you change the speakers. It has been completely serviced by Klingan Tone in Collingwood and all tubes replaced with high-end JJ 6L6GCs. Original working National Electronic 6L6GCs can be thrown if you want as I kept them. Electric were fully serviced though the vibrato and possibly the channel 2 pots needs replacing. The reverb and channel 1 work perfectly it has an inbuilt speaker lead and power chord in the back. The classic spring reverb sound amazing.

The speaker box is a rare original 3x12" (plenty loud for large venues) configuration and it is on heavy duty wheels though they can be taken off. Scuffs and fading grill as expected for an amp of this age though it has been 100% reliable for me in the studio and live.
