Regrettably, I find myself parting ways with the Dropping Acid Pedal Etching #Rip pedal, a sonic masterpiece that I had the pleasure of using a few times. Despite its exceptional tone and versatility, circumstances have led me to make the difficult decision of selling it, hoping it will find an owner who can fully appreciate its rich harmonics and unleash its potential. May it inspire countless musicians and become an essential tool in shaping their unique soundscapes.
---
This is the first pedal released by Dropping Acid Pedal Etching. The #rip. is an LM386 op amp distortion that goes from mild to wild. With four modes at your disposal, you can achieve sweet distorted tones for your post rock band or rip your self into oblivion with the momentary feedback switch.
- Mode 1: Clean, always on preamp, boost
- Mode 2: "Normal" guitar or bass distortion
- Mode 3: Gain and Bass Boost
- Mode 4: All the GAIN and all the BASS.
- The voltage knob interacts with the distorted signal and will yield gated/ sputtery or broken amp sounds.
- The momentary feedback button will give you robot farts to high pitch squealies depending on the other settings on the pedal.
