In a world where the finest classical guitars largely share a similar aesthetic, the A Series is a wonderful exception. I love the overall design and outline, and the colorful horn material. This one also utilizes an eye-catching set of rare and ancient bog oak for the back and sides, with a color that may make one reflect on the thousands of years it was in the ground.
In fact, in the video link included is an interesting and informative documentary short about Gary, and bog oak.
If I recall correctly in it is also the story of a large table made from a single length of bog oak, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Quite the story.
The guitar is in excellent shape, with very little wear to be found, and only if searching for it.
These guitars are rarely seen out there.
