Available for sale is a gently used Rare 2019 Oakland Axe Factory/Drinkwater Custom “Jazz-Monster” Multiscale 7-String Electric Guitar. It was built by Tom Drinkwater at Oakland Axe Factory (now Drinkwater Guitars after 2016) in Oakland, ME. Since 2015 all Oakland Axe Factory guitars are at least partially manufactured by Kevin Fast of Fast Guitars in Vancouver BC and in most cases finished and assembled by Oakland Axe Factory in Oakland, ME. This instrument is now extremely rare since Tom is only accepting a few builds and Kevin Fast has stopped building all together. The guitar is in very good condition with no body damage and only a small blemish on the headstock and back of the neck, both of which are pictured and none of them affect the playability or feel of this fantastic instrument. I’m the second owner of this guitar and this guitar is the same guitar that’s featured on Drinkwater’s Facebook cover photo. The body was refinished by Pat Wilkins of Wilkins Guitars, in the fantastic transparent red finish. The guitar comes in a Hard Case, made by SKB. Within the case are included samples of the source wood used to make the body + neck and these have been branded by Oakland Axe Factory.
