I bought this Piccolo about 2 years ago, it got little use. I maybe pulled it out and used it for a week of shows but that is it, as the pictures show it is basically brand new. I oil treated the bore every three months for the last three years so you don't need to worry about it ever cracking. If you are in the NYC area I can definitely set up a play test for you but this piccolo plays gorgeously; seriously, some of the sweetest sounds I've heard but then again it's Hammig so it's what you'd expect.
