Bacchus' long-selling "WOODLINE" model is a dinky shape model designed with playability in mind, and is popular with many bass players for its tight sound that covers all genres and the texture of the wood that gets better as it is played.
Controls are the standard JB-style 2Vol, 1Tone (Turbo Switch). When the tone knob is pulled up, the two pickups are connected in series, creating a fat sound like a humbucking type PU. (While the Turbo Switch is turned on, the volume control is done with the front volume knob and the rear volume knob is bypassed.)
The greatest feature of this model is that it is a hollow specification, which has not been produced in about 2 years.
The hollow part in the body and the F-holes not only give it a jazzy look, but also create a sense of airiness in the sound by combining it with acoustic-like woods. The body is also lighter, which reduces playing stress.
