Before selling Stein Burger Sound Corporation to Gibson in 1987, a pre -preggibson period production model. The 1984 Steinberger XL-2, a base made of integrated molding of carbon-enhanced synthetic resin using carbongla fight, called the steine burger blend. It brings out the sound quality and surprisingly powerful sound that is clear, sustainable, which cannot be obtained with other materials. The pickup is equipped with an EMG-SS, has a good response to all frequency bands, and boosts a clear and powerful sound that is originally held in noiseless. The Stein Bar Garbase, which caused a large sensation at the time for more than 30 years since the beginning of the L2 designed by Ned Stein Burger in 1979, is the one and only electric bass that is still unrivaled.
