Richter Straps is handmade in Germany by luthier Lars Richter.
Richter Straps utilize high quality leathers such as buffalo leather and cowhide leather, as well as the latest materials such as microfiber, and produce straps with various arrangements for each theme of each model.
In recent years, the brand has become extremely popular, especially among bassists, with Yusuke Morita, Noriaki Hosoya, and many others using the straps.
Raw II Contour is a new model added to the lineup in 2016.
Its simple construction uses solid, mineral-tanned cowhide leather as the material.
Leaves are carved to give the model a texture that looks as if it has been used for years. The Raw II Contour lineup also includes Croco with a matte alligator pattern, Sew with a quilted pattern, Wrinkle with an elephant leather-like texture, and Western Rose with a floral pattern.
