The ORM1 is a solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It is a signature guitar model of Omar RodrĂguez-LĂłpez, guitarist for the American rock band The Mars Volta.
The ORM1 is based on the second Jet King body style. It has a mahogany body bolted to a 24" scale laminated mahogany neck with a classic Ibanez 'tulip' headstock and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block position markers. Components include a single-coil sized humbucker
Seymour Duncan Hot Rail in the bridge position. Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar III bridge with through-body string routing, and Gotoh Peg
tuning machines.
