Custom Vintage ST60s Strat Style Lake Placid Blue Over Red Guitar Body Heavy Relic 4.3 Lb

This solid wood Strat style guitar body has a thin Lake Placid Blue heavy relic finish over red, and is very light at 4.3 lb. The pickup and control cavities are shielded with copper foil tape to reduce noise, and the finish is in heavy road worn condition with the clear coat de-glossed for a semi satin sheen. There’s faint hints of checking in some areas.

The previous owner enlarged the bridge pickup cavity for a humbucker. The neck pocket width is 2 3/16” and depending on your neck may need adjustment to ensure the best fit. Brand and maker is not known, but it has standard Fender thickness.

The finish has a lot of wear that really looks cool if you’re going for a heavy relic type of custom build. Very cool body that appears to be Alder.
