No doubt The Essie has got that classic familiarity of its SoCal heritage. In fact, this Essie-28 was built by right here in Chula Vista, CA.  The super hot (14k) Kent Armstrong pickup gives it that clear, crisp, sound that this Dood totally approves of. I rounded the fret board and fret edges, and polished the frets to make this guitar very comfortable to play. All the intonation, truss adjustments, and action are already done, with room to go lower if desired. This guitar is truly gig-ready. The price includes a case, and standard shipping to the lower 48. NOTE: This is the first guitar I designed the body and neck, then cut and built both pieces using my new CNC. And, while the main parts were cut on CNC, the final shaping of the neck was done by hand, and the finish was hand applied. I share this useless trivia with you just in case you are on Antiques Roadshow 50 years from now.
