This Star Instruments Synare 3 is Owned by Modest Mouse
There is a good amount of cosmetic wear throughout including heavy scratches, scuffs and dirt throughout. The foam drum pad is in decent shape compared to the unit's well-worn metal enclosure. There is a small "1" painted on the pad. The pad does not have a very sensitive response–it requires a more forceful stroke to be played. The diameter of the pad measures 7.5 inches. The knobs are a bit lopsided, noticeable when being adjusted, however they are in good working order. The control panel is slightly warped/peeling off in a few areas. The metal enclosure is currently missing its three screws, allowing the unit to be opened up. The unit takes two 9V batteries, which it currently has. Although this unit has acquired quite a bit of wear, it's a cool little piece in solid working condition
