Modulus Genesis 5, boutique bass made in 2000 in USA.
Those basses are extremely rare, and have not been in production for many years. If you know - you know, that's all I can say.
Unique design, with a carbon fiber skeleton sandwiched in between a wood neck and wood fingerboard. It extends into the depth of the heel of the bass as well as the back of the headstock. That gives the neck incredible stability and resistance to temperature and humidity.
Minimal (if any at all) neck maintenance with super low action and a B string that's one of the tightest in the biz.
Excellent condition for its age! A few dings here and there (see pictures) that involve the outer finish and do not affect playability in any way.
Incredible tone versatility, fast neck, amazing playability. Unreal sustain and note clarity due to the carbon fiber substructure.
Comes in a Modulus moulded hardshell case. The case is scratched and dinged up here and there but is fully functional.
