Maison was a small company in Korea started in the late 70's and made guitars until the end of the 80's. As with most companies predating the internet information on this company is scarce. Maison specialised in Gibson copies and often were constructed by very high quality woods and hardware. The company was taken over by Yoojin in the 90's before going out of business.
Based on the logo this guitar can be confirmed as a 1970's model.
This guitar is in good condition, it has a few scuff marks on the bottom edge of the body. It only has very mild scratching elsewhere. The frets have minor wear but nothing to be concerned about, it has plenty of fret life left. The action at the 12th fret is 1.25mm and plays great. There is minor cracking in the neck pocket but this seems to be just surface cracking and the guitar is structurally solid. There is no evidence of any previous repair work. The TOM bridge has been replaced by us as there was a loose saddle that caused buzzing that could not be replaced. The guitar comes with a soft gig bag.
