Definitely gonna be sad moving this…probably one of the most stunning mic pre amps I’ve ever heard. I just got a bunch of Chandler now and are just outta room. This one has a pretty cool Texas Western swing history. Bob Wills used this actual unit to record with. Only mod is a 3 prong cord was added to keep it safe and more stable. The only thing I really can compare this pre amp to in terms of sound and quality is our Pultecs we have here. Very similar in soundstage and frequency similarity. Honestly if I had a stereo pair I’d keep it and just throw it on the master buss of my console and run everything thru it. It definitely has some magic sauce in this beast. I’ve used this as just a mic pre into a comp for vocals and this thing was unbelievable. I’ve also used it for room mics for Guitar cabs and drums for for again stunning results. You won’t be disappointed. I do have the original carrying case for it that is in excellent condition and has a front and a back to protect it during shipping.
