The Micro Seiki DD-7, released in Japan in 1975 during the Japanese "Golden Era" of high-fidelity audio equipment, is a wonderful vintage turntable from a highly-regarded Japanese producer. Micro Seiki has acquired a great reputation over the years for its high-quality turntables, and this DD-7 is no exception. Similar to other Japanese turntables of the era (yet different from most Micro Seiki turntables), the DD-7 operates with a direct-drive system using a PLL quartz DC servo motor. It is a highly precise unit, with a solid build quality, featuring wow and flutter of <0.03% (WRMS) and an SNR of >60 dB (JIS). The DD-7 is a superb turntable with exceptional mechanical engineering, a handsome design, and incredible sound. This turntable includes the Micro Seiki MA-505 Tonearm, which has a great reputation for its low tracking force and high quality of build. You’ll love it!
