this appears to be a copy of one of the monette mouthpieces with the slap cup. Description from Legends website below:

"This mouthpiece has a semi-flat, very soft rim with some nice undercut for chop room*. This is a low cup-volume design, with a cup shape inspired by the famous "SL" cup. The entrance to the throat is rounded and allows good air flow. Slotting is excellent with the L-BL2S3. The design elements of this model maximize endurance, range and sound for the player. The L-BL2S3 is perfect for extended upper register/lead playing.

*The curve of the inside rim makes it difficult to measure accurately. Using standard Legends Brass measurements, it is .618". However, it may feel as large as .630" (16.00 mm) on the lips.

This mouthpiece is kept in stock in three blanks: lightweight, standard weight, and heavyweight. The lightweight blank adds extra sizzle for more of a lead, or 'Las Vegas' sound.
